Hawkins was an institution of the Ontario music scene for over 40 years. He was influential in the evolution of rock music in Canada. [2] Also known as "Rompin' Ronnie", "Mr. Dynamo" or "The Hawk", he was one of the key players in the 1960s rock scene in Toronto.
