A federal judge has ordered that a Tufts University student from Turkey who was detained by immigration authorities in March be brought to Vermont.

Ukraine imposed sanctions on three Chinese companies on Friday claiming they were involved in production of advanced Iskander missiles, a day after President Volodymyr Zelenskiy alleged that China had been supplying weapons to Russia.

The Tufts student, targeted because she co-authored an op-ed, may still be able to fight for her release in a court in Vermont.
