Feb 8, 2011 · I had my port repositioned, not removed, but I think it'd be similar surgery. It was same day surgery with general anesthesia. The surgery itself took about 15 minutes. Getting to the hospital (a 1-1/2 hr drive) before sunrise, waiting for my turn, and waiting to be discharged took much longer. My surgeon used my original port incision.

went "mountain" climbing for fun on vaca - Visited Upper Michigan this weekend and took a friend's advice and climbed Sugarloaf Mountain (only a small hill to those out west) to see the sunrise at 6:50am.
