Mar 29, 2012 · I need a good-hearted jeep mechanic that we can work on jeeps together in Chicago. I'll buy the parts as needed plus some cash to buy you a cup of coffee; or just look at the jeep and tell me some know-hows! I love jeeps! I have had 2 Wranglers, 2 Renegades, and a CJ-5 but am never a mechanic. Now I have a 93 and 97 Wrangler.

Aug 21, 2012 · If any of you are in Chicago and a gun metal TJ with WARN front and rear bumpers, KC fog lights, winch, black American Racing rims, bushwhacker flares and a beefy rear swing away tire carrier it might be my jeep. It was stolen from my house down in River West yesterday at some point. I have filed a police report hoping it will show up. Thanks

Feb 14, 2009 · It functions OK, clutch doesn't work to release the cable. Cable was already rusty (mostly surface rust, but doesn't make you feel warm or fuzzy having to pull on it). Drag the Jeep out of some nasty stuff though so with a replacement cable and making seeing if I can't free up the clutch, it would probably be a pretty decent winch.

Apr 25, 2017 · Also, look on facebook for Jeep clubs. There are a couple of really active ones, Windy City Jeep Force is the one I am most active on. Lots of outings and get togethers. Badlands is great. There is a new off road park up in McHenry called the River Road Rally park. I haven't been there yet but I guess its VERY muddy.
