Mar 27, 2006 · Batsto to the Mullica River Wilderness Site is like 7 miles. Most of it is sand mixed with a tiny bit of green highway and a couple plank crossings. Personally, I think the way up to Lower Forge is a bit of a nicer hike, but I dont know if thats true with current conditions. The camp is nice though, against the water with a water pump and privy.

MY stuff weights 20 lbs. gear, food and 1 liter of water. i don't even know what your stuff is? it's a 7 hike hike from Batsto and 26 miles from Bass river or Ong's hat. the sand road is .5 miles in, but feels like 2 miles after 26

Dec 28, 2003 · Just a note on this place... on the southern side where all the paths go through that lead to the Mullica River Wilderness Camp, there is a small cleared area down by the water. This is about 75 yards south of the actual old bridge abutment site.
