The Club hosts the iconic Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the U.S. and, since 1948, the longest nationally televised live dog show. Supporting canine health, members of the sport, and the dog world community are part of an ongoing tradition.

the Westminster Kennel Club have announced that tickets for the 146th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show presented by Purina Pro Plan® at Madison Square Garden are on sale now at msg.com/ dogshow. The event will return to The World’s Most Famous Arena on Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

For 2022, The Westminster Kennel Club is once again a Champions-only competition. To become an AKC champion, a dog must win a total of 15 points at a number of AKC-sanctioned dog shows. All champions will be entered in the Best of Breed competition at Westminster in its corresponding breed or variety.
