May 8, 2019 · I use Motul 5100 15w50 semi synthetic in my Himalayan. Because 15w50 is what Royal Enfield says to use in that engine. I don't see any reason not to use the specified grade of oil. After all it's specified for a reason and all engines seem to run better when given the proper value oil in my experience.

Nov 12, 2022 · The first picture shows the relay, fuse block, negative connection strip, and brake module in the rear tool compartment of the euro 5 2022 Himalayan. Fuse 1 is brake module, Fuse 2 is Turn Module, Fuse 3 is Heated Grips, fuse 4 Spare, I may use it for Spot Lights.

Jan 23, 2021 · I don't know if RE prescribes any particular make of sprocket or chain. As above: I purchased my spares from Carpimoto and they sent me "ESJOT Stainless Steel Rear Sprocket for Royal Enfield Himalayan, 525 chain, 38 teeth" plus the front sprocket of the same make and an DID 525 chain, The chain is generic; the sprockets might not be.

May 15, 2024 · From the video, it is stated Royal Enfield did 1,000,000 km of testing and the number sold is currently reaching 40,000. Good to see that despite possible issues surrounding accessories installed, the two that did have problems were taken care of by RE.

May 7, 2022 · Hmm. I'm trying to do this on my 2023. I don't see that little one wire plug. I do see a six way. According to the Euro V schematic, there is a 6 pin diagnostic plug with ground, ignition, and CAN H & L. Colours on mind correspond to schematic (black gnd, brown ign, yellow/red & violet CAN).

Dec 21, 2020 · Hitchcocks the holders of all Enfield knowledge say 8. So that will be the one. Hopefully this will will help with the starting at low battery power. Awaiting a battery upgrade to Lithium with a little higher Cold Crank Amp rating. This with a headlight modification to fit a dip light switch may also help stop power drain when starting.

Dec 11, 2024 · I just picked up my new 2025 Himalayan and while I should of caught these issues before I committed to my purchase, I'm kicking myself for not noticing. My bike has 4 quality control issues. First the bracket the windscreen is bolted to is welded on the frame crooked resulting in the windscreen being cocked to the right on the top.

As a few of you might know my Himalayan has already been "breathed on", It has a big bore, powertronic, larger throttle body, DNA air filter and opened airbox along with Hitchcock's first cam and with that, it all felt pretty good but ran out a bit up high. All that has now changed with the addition of the Stage 2 cam.
