Jan 25, 2025 · Amazing Spider-Man is a good Spider-Man movie. Very flawed. But good. Amazing Spider-Man 2 is great and one of the best Spider-Man movies. I will defend the movie until the end of time. I think everything works. Following up on ideas from the first. The Peter/Gwen relationship is so precious but a constant dark cloud hangs over it the entire film.

But man the bad guys were just not it and trying to shoehorn in the sinister 6 and some weird mystery about Pete's parents was just too much.
