Nest box design and size for Gouldians - Aussie Finch Forum
Sep 24, 2014 · I'm only new to the forum and new to breeding Gouldians. Can anyone please advise what size and shape nest box is the best to use to breed these birds? Thanks!
The Gouldian Nest Box
As we use thicker timber in our boxes we adjust the size to keep the inside measurements of the nest always the same, the outside nest measurements being 230mm long x 145 mm wide and 155mm high with a tight fitting lid.

Jun 9, 2013 · Curious about what size nest boxes use for Gouldian and TCPF. I brought some standard and half front boxes site unseen and was surprised at how small they are. Whilst out at Elenbee today buying some Greens and Grain I purchased some budgie boxes as alternatives - virtually a McMansion.
