Nov 3, 2024 · Of the three 2023 Chardonnays tasted from Tamburlaine, this Reserve wine from Orange, NSW, was the pick of the bunch. A wine with fabulous charm, it edged out the slightly richer Reserve Hunter Valley and the barrel fermented Point 65. Peachy was my first impression with scents of creme caramel, nougat and brioche in hot pursuit.
