The Academy of Marketing is sad to report that Emeritus Professor Michael J. Baker, MEG Chair 1974-1986, MEG/AM President 1986-2005, passed away in August 2021. I first met Professor Baker in 1978 when giving my first paper at a MEG conference in Hull.
