Your books are saved in the cloud so you do not need to worry about those. If you have fire devices you can lose the game progress if you have any, so keep that in mind.

One other thing I've discovered is that OMC won't play the books either. Usually on one of the downloaded books, you can hit the play button on OMC and the file will start playing.
