Nov 2, 2021 · I remember she died right around the same time or bit after her ex husband. I know exactly who Tina Turner was as she had a revival in the 80's with the Mad Max Franchise. I used to watch her videos on MTV. I also know in my timeline she died years ago because the joke then was Tina Turner died and it wasn't Ike that killed her.

The way Tina Turner bites into it is very much what sells it for me. Love me some Shirley Basset but Tina delivers this in an almost threatening and cruel manner that I find even better. I mean this whole subthread shows how many people dug the song.

Jun 20, 2023 · I distinctly remember her death, as my parents went to watch the West End show "Tina" as a sort of homage to the late singer, this was at least 4 years ago. I remember there being news articles about her daughter not doing well with the news and something about the supposed drugs she was taking right up to her death.

Sep 15, 2023 · What shocks me is that this is the solo Tina Turner album. It was her comeback that cemented her legendary status. The album sold 12 million copies worldwide, so it was huge. It just shocks me that such a momentous album could be taken off of Spotify like that.

May 25, 2023 · The Daily Mail is reporting that Tina Turner died of natural causes. No one has disclosed the “long illness” she had previously. I did notice that she didn’t comment when Olivia Newton-John died last year, nor when Charlie Watts died the the year before.
