May 6, 2021 · Gentry was rather bland as Ed. He was just sort of there like a piece of dead wood. I agree, he had no chemistry with anyone in the show. Very low energy. Not the Robert Gentry I was accustomed to seeing on screen. Maybe it was indeed the cocktail. It was introduced in 1996, so maybe that was having some affect on his performances and the energy.
