Oct 5, 2006 · Yes, same TV and today my Guide seemed much quicker with no idea why (before you wanted to punch it, slower than my 10 year old Humax, similar to the old Panasonic but that remember the guide details. and any samsung TV puta it to shame. The only thing as bad was an really old dirt cheap freeview box.

Jan 12, 2018 · I recently purchased an LG 32" TV with Freeview Play (LG 32LK6100), but the scroll-back over the past week's programmes won't work. After a number of exchanges with LG technical support, they've told me it doesn't work because my broadband speed is too slow. I have 7Mbps download and 1Mbps upload, and they say I need 10-15Mbps and 5Mbps.

Dec 17, 2019 · I just bought an LG 32LM63 and the first thing I did after setting it up was to google "LG TV guide slow". Massively disappointed and won't ever buy an LG TV again. It takes 5 or 6 seconds to bring up the guide or the channel list (the old tiny non-WiFi LG TV this new one replaced brought up the FreeView guid instantly).

Dec 3, 2020 · However, I've since put the TV on a static IP address and set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 (was my local router IP) and TV guide performance is much improved. (49SM9000PLA with software v05.00.10 - 1Gbps wired connection to 80Mbs Internet via Vodafone using my own Netgear R7800 router - for anyone who wants technical details)

Tv model is a LG OLED55B8PLA 55” I have noticed that if I turn on the tv from standby and go to strait to the TV guide then the icons are coloured for a few seconds before reverting back to the yellow and white.

I have tried some of the suggestions found elsewhere (changing time zones, zip codes, etc.), but I have not taken the "full factory reset" step as I am hoping to avoid that.
