Xuân Lộc Base Camp (also known as Xuân Lộc Airfield or Firebase Husky) is a former U.S. Army and Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) base in the town of Xuân Lộc in Đồng Nai Province in southern Vietnam. The base was established in late 1966 by the 5th Special Forces Detachment AB-31.

During the Vietnam War the detachment was physically located in the base camp or near the city of Xuan Loc at several locations and referred to under several different names, as were the convoys- Long Gaio, Blackhorse, Xuan Loc, and the "Husky" (compound).

The 2d Battalion, 35th Artillery (155mm Howitzer, Self-Propelled) arrived in Vietnam on 17 June 1966 from Fort Carson, Colorado. It was a self-propelled M109 155 mm howitzer battalion and was first stationed at Xuan Loc with the 23d Artillery Group.

The Huskie was deployed overseas during the Vietnam War; several detachments of the Pacific Air Rescue Center, the 33d, 36th, 37th, and 38th Air Rescue Squadrons, and the 40th Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron operated the type. Personnel came to commonly refer to the aircraft by its call sign "Pedro".

When the 155s got a fire mission the noise and the dust were horrific. Being a 24-hour service, they got them day and night, which made the few hours the grunts got to sleep between turns on guard duty even fewer. The artillerymen were good guys who worked their butts off.
