For example, most of the Ryzen 3000 CPUs are better at mining Monero than even the even best first-gen Threadripper. So unless you already have one, you shouldn't be looking at this kind of CPUs to exclusively mine Monero.

Dec 4, 2023 · If you want to go all out on a single $2,000+ mining rig, you could go with an AMD Epyc 64 core processor and server motherboard. But the return on your initial investment is going to be many years. Do your own research and know what you are getting into before you invest the time and money. You aren't going to get rich quick (or at all) mining.

Jan 22, 2021 · Mining XMR using GPUs is just not worth it – I'd be much better off mining using CPUs exclusively. Out of all possible options for CPUs, using the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or the Ryzen 9 3900X is my best choice, from a purely ROI point of view. Moneroocean is a decent pool, so I'm going with that, using their top profit algo-switching version of xmrig.

12 votes, 25 comments. true. I mean depends on what GPU you're talking about- a 400-500$ GPU these days is an RX 580 at best if you buy used, and mine mines ~1 euro a day undervolted @ 150 W- accounting for electricity costs- ~0.65 euro cent profit- nowhere close to 3-5$ per day (0.65 eur=0.77$).

Nov 15, 2021 · Doing much better than me on my 2013 MacBook 😂 Mining SHIB feels the best because you get loads of them! 😂 Raptoreum profitability is slightly better I think but with smaller number of coins feels not as great!
