While you can block your ISP from knowing what web sites you are browsing they will know what movies and TV shows you are streaming.

I can obviously connect with my desktop,laptop,tablet,phone no problem -- but I'd like to extend that to the devices that don't have the capabilities like xbox, ps4, media streaming devices.

I've run router VPN for about 4 years now and there are a few exceptions that sit in the router rules such as Netflix and Amazon Prime devices. Overall having most of the whole house run over the VPN has been great. It's absolutely incredible how the USA sells your traffic information.

Apr 11, 2016 · I use a router with Shibby Tomato firmware. I would recommend Shibby Tomato over DD-WRT. DD-WRT has become much more commercial while Shibby Tomato has not. It has really good VPN support and subnetting capabilities. You can do things like set up a subnet with the VPN on a separate wifi SSID and a dedicate another SSID for non VPN use.

Dec 18, 2019 · Hope this helps but 7968 didn't allow the whole house vpn to work anymore so I dropped back to 7756. To help explain my setup: I have 2 different scenarios that I use VPN for. In scenario one, I use Nord to set the whole house into the Nord VPN system so none of my NBA League pass is blocked.

The added HP of a real CPU makes a difference in being able to get line speed from the VPN connection as well. OVPN is legacy and ~50% of what you can get out of wireguard based connections.
