Western North Carolina schools announce schedule changes due to road conditions Thursday
HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - Some Western North Carolina schools announced some class schedules due to road conditions on Thursday. Avery County Schools will operate on a one-hour delay and Macon County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
Wind advisory affecting Western North Carolina until early Wednesday morning, says the NWS
The NWS Blacksburg VA issued a wind advisory at 2:08 p.m. on Tuesday valid from 6 p.m. until Wednesday 4 a.m. The advisory is for Ashe, Alleghany and Watauga counties.
