As it turns out, artists do not get paid for the Super Bowl Halftime Show—at least not by the NFL. The NFL does, however, cover all the production costs of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, so artists won't be in the red if they perform.

The Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show airs at halftime, but when exactly the show starts can be difficult to say. The start of halftime depends on how the game progresses, but with a 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff, you can typically expect it to start between 8 and 8:15 p.m. ET. More details below.
