Slovakia has followed up its win over the United States with a 2-0 victory over Australia to reach the semifinals of the Billie Jean King Cup finals.

The irrepressible Emma Raducanu beat Slovakia’s Viktoria Hruncakova to put Great Britain one win away from their first Billie Jean King (BJK) Cup final since 1981.

Britain dispatched defending champions Canada 2-0 to advance to the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals on Sunday following straight-sets singles wins from Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter. They will play Slovakia for a place in the final on Tuesday.

Emma Raducanu’s winning streak continued on Tuesday as she put Great Britain 1-0 up against Slovakia in the Billie Jean King Cup semi-finals. The 22-year-old defeated world No.238 Viktoria Hruncakova 6-4 6-4,

Slovakia overcame Australia 2-0 on Sunday to reach the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup. Later on Sunday, Britain will play holders Canada with the winners set to face Slovakia in the semi-finals.
