Board partners are apparently set to receive less stock of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 as production of new RTX 5060 gaming GPU ramps up.

It looks like the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 graphics cards could prove to be even better value for money than initially thought, as a new rumor suggests that the mid-range graphics cards won’t require Nvidia’s 12VHPWR connector (which the powerful RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 use).

According to multiple sources, the GeForce RTX 5060 series is expected to launch in March-April 2025. NVIDIA’s decision to retain the 8-pin connector and recommend a higher PSU wattage suggests that these GPUs may have slightly higher power demands than their predecessors but will remain within a reasonable upgrade path for most gamers.
