A machete-wielding man who was a suspect in a bank robbery died after a Lancaster city police officer shot him, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The FBI is releasing new information about a suspect they say robbed a bank in Reno. On Wednesday afternoon, the US Bank located at 5150 Mae Anne Avenue was robbed by an unknown suspect. The FBI has since taken over the investigation.

The suspect, whose condition and identity remain unknown, was shot by an officer after an attempted bank robbery and police chase.
