The San Francisco 49ers are confident that they will get a contract extension done with quarterback Brock Purdy. 49ers general manager John Lynch expressed his belief that the team "will get a deal done" with Purdy and that it hopefully happens in the near future.

Brock Purdy just might get his wish. The 49ers quarterback said after the season he wanted a long-term extension "sooner than later," setting a goal to have it done by the start of the offseason program.
