PARIS (AP) — Alexander Zverev was imperious in dispatching Frenchman Ugo Humbert 6-2, 6-2 to win the Paris Masters on Sunday.

On September 30, 2024, Humbert won his last match, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, over Tomas Machac in the semifinals of the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships. Over the last two years, Zverev and Humbert met in the Round of 32 at the Rolex Paris Masters on November 1, 2023. Zverev won 6-4, 6-7, 7-6.
