Women's Championship side Newcastle United have signed Aston Villa forward Freya Gregory on a permanent deal. The 22-year-old spent the last two seasons on loan at Leicester City and Reading, before joining Southampton for another loan spell in the summer.

Gregory becomes Newcastle United’s third signing of the January transfer window following the recent additions of Charlotte Wardlaw and Poppy Pritchard.
