The documents reportedly indicate that Hindenburg and Anson worked together on crafting bearish reports targeting companies, raising questions about securities fraud.

Hindenburg Research’s founder has decided to disband the short-selling firm whose reports erased tens of billions from the market values of companies including India’s Adani Group and Icahn Enterprises.

Nate Anderson who started Hindenburg Research in 2017, is best known for exposing Nikola Motors, which claimed to have developed a fully functional hydrogen-powered truck. In India he is known for a January 2023 report accusing Adani Group of fraud.
