The Kremlin on Thursday expressed its condolences to the families of Russian citizens who lost their lives in the American Airlines plane crash in Washington on Wednesday night.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed earlier reports that a pair of Russian figure skaters were on the crashed plane, adding that other Russian nationals were also on board. He expressed condolen
