Kia EV9 is set to be launched in India along with the EV9 electric SUV on 3rd October 2024 along with the new generation Carnival.

Kia India launched the EV9 at Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom) in India today. The Kia EV9 is the flagship EV from Kia that is based on the E-GMP platform. It offers a range of 561 kilometres on a single charge.

Kia has opened its premium innings in India by launching the Carnival MPV and EV9 SUV. They are priced at Rs 63.90 lakh and Rs 1.29 crore making the latter the South Korean automaker's flagship car for India.

Kia Carnival has made a comeback to India after the MPV was discontinued in April 2023. The EV9 becomes Kia’s second electric car in India after the EV6.
