Google has issued a high-severity security warning for billions of Chrome browser users across Windows, Mac, Linux and Android—don’t ignore it, act now to stay safe.

If you have Chrome on your Android handset, open the app and tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner. From the menu that appears, tap on Help & feedback. From that menu, press "Update Google Chrome" and you can have Chrome automatically update to the latest version when it is released. To set this up, follow these directions:

Google confirmed that you might see other messages related to Chrome update failure such as: Updates are disabled by administrator, This computer will no longer receive Chrome updates because Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported, or Google Chrome may not be able to keep itself updated.
