Firefighters battled freezing temperatures responding Wednesday to a blaze that left a residence heavily damaged in Chesterfield.

A fire burned through a Chesterfield County home’s carport late Wednesday night. Just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS were called to the 2500 block of Reymet Road for report of a structure fire.
