OTTAWA COUNTY, Okla. (KOAM) - Officials identify human remains found in northeast Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Medical Examiners Office confirmed the identity of the human remains to be that of Aubrey/Austin Dameron, an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation.

Aubrey Dameron disappeared from Grove, Oklahoma, in March 2019. Remains found in January have been positively identified as belonging to her. The Quapaw Nation Marshal Service has stated that the investigation is ongoing.
