While both sides say negotiations are continuing toward a lease extension, the documents raise new questions about the team's future in Cincinnati.

It appears as if things between the Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County are getting heated regarding a new stadium lease. According to The Cincinnati Business Courier, the team has accused Hamilton County of being in default of their 1997 lease agreement.

The Cincinnati Bengals figure to be a team with some notable roster turnover after the failure to reach the playoffs, which includes letting a number of the team’s own free agents walk on the open market. That’s especially the case on the defensive side of the ball, where one of the NFL’s worst units will undergo a major change at coordinator.
