The thing about separating the art from the artist is that people are typically a lot more inclined to do so if the “art” isn’t a generic piece of faith-based schlock, and the “artist” hasn’t made a variety of disqualifying comments that pertain directly to the subject of their latest film.

With a few solid performances against a plain script, The Unbreakable Boy is a cute, albeit simple, movie that families will love.
