The Israeli Air Force had aircraft circling the skies of Beirut above the funeral, "sending a clear message," according to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
It claimed the site contained "rocket shells and combat equipment". Hezbollah rocket platforms in southern Lebanon were also attacked, the IAF added, because they "posed a threat to Israeli citizens".
