The Tampa Bay Baptist Association plans to add an 8,750 square-foot gym to its lakeside Baptist Conference Center. Groundbreaking ceremonies will be held today at 1 p.m.

Made up of more than 3,000 churches, the FBC is an affiliate of the Southern Baptist Convention. The convention's former director, T.G. John Sullivan, retired in February.
