Amanda Anisimova has won the Qatar Open for her third career title and first since 2022. Anisimova beat former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-3 in a final disrupted twice by showers on Saturday.

Jelena Ostapenko had beaten World No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the semi-final, but could not triumph over Amanda Anisimova.

Amanda Anisimova claimed her first WTA 1000 title when she beat Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the Qatar Open. The American will break into the top 20 for the first time in her career.
