Just weeks into his tenure as Indiana’s new Republican governor, Mike Braun highlighted the strength of Indiana and its residents as part of his first State of the State address Wednesday evening.

Workers in Indiana were among the millions of federal employees who on Tuesday received a memo offering the option to resign while still receiving pay through September.

Braun launched his first month in office with a flurry of executive orders and, on Wednesday, his first joint address to the General Assembly.
