As it stands, we do not know which side of the coin is the real truth. What we do know is the outcome: Aaron Rodgers will no longer be a New York Jet. The Aaron Rodgers experiment has come to an end in New York (at least in the white and green), and the team has begun exploring other options at quarterback.

The Jets sent a package of draft picks to the Packers in April 2023 to acquire Rodgers. The hope was that the four-time MVP and future Hall of Famer could provide the franchise with a culture change and elevate the team out of its losing ways.
