NFL Draft just a few months away, our Bryce Lazenby has put together a four-found mock draft for the Detroit Lions that addresses multiple needs on defense, including at edge rusher.

Detroit spent their first two draft picks at the position, drafting Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. This year, their obvious need is an edge rusher who can line up alongside Aidan Hutchinson.

The Lions had one of the better offensive lines in the NFL last season, as evidenced by two players initially making the Pro Bowl roster and a third being added late, ironically in place of another Lion.

Pro Football Focus has the Detroit Lions selecting Georgia pass rusher Mykel Williams with the 28th pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Assuming the Detroit Lions actually bring back Za'Darius Smith, the team needs to bring in more depth along the edge and a long-term running mate for Aidan Hutchinson. CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso has the Lions doing just that in his latest mock draft.
