On Monday, Sky Sports reported (see below) that Newcastle United and Atlanta United had reached agreement on an £11m deal for Miguel Almiron. An £8m transfer fee plus then £3m future add-ons.

Miguel Almirón is returning to Atlanta. Atlanta United announced Thursday the signing of the Paraguayan midfielder after completing a transfer from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee.
