The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $44 million for Tuesday's drawing after no one won the top prize on Friday night. If someone should match all six numbers in the Tuesday night drawing, they could choose a one-time cash payment of $19.

Someone won $50,000 playing Mega Millions after matching four numbers and the Mega Ball in the Jan. 28 drawing, just missing the estimated $44 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. The winning ticket was sold at a Kroger fuel station in Tucker, according to lottery officials.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing to $59 million.
