ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Ducks goaltender John Gibson suffered an upper-body injury during the first period of Saturday night's game against the Nashville Predators and was replaced between periods.

Gibson exited the contest in the first period after taking a stick to the face and was subsequently replaced in goal by Lukas Dostal. Gibson turned aside all 11 shots that he faced before departing.
