NBA rumors suggest the Lakers know it will be "pretty hard" to trade for Raptors center Jakob Poeltl as Toronto holds firm on its demands.

The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to upgrade their frontcourt after trading away Anthony Davis and they have been interested in acquiring Jakob Poeltl from the Toronto Raptors.

Poeltl (hip) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Heat, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Poeltl will now miss a sixth straight game for Toronto as he deals with a right hip contusion.
