Now North Wales Live has been told that the lagoon site had been sold. It is understood the buyer is Interesting Hotels. They bought the Hilton hotel at the site at the end of last year.

The hotel said they did not expect it to be "so contentious". The new policy came in last November and came to an end on March 31. North Wales Live contacted the hotel to see how it had gone.
