Pattinson’s confirmation comes after the film’s release date had been delayed from Oct. 2, 2026 to Oct. 1, 2027 by Warner Bros. and director Reeves told Deadline at the Golden Globes that The Batman Part II will start shooting at some point in 2025.

Part II , and by the time it finally hits theaters on October 1, 2027, over five years will have passed since Robert Pattinson was introduced as Batman. After multiple delays, though, it looks like things are finally moving forward.
