Former Radio 1 DJ Andy Peebles, one of the last people to interview John Lennon, has died at the age of 76, his family has confirmed. He presented on BBC Radio 1 from 1978 to 1992 and also hosted a number of editions of Top of the Pops in the 1970s and 80s.
