We’ve seen air fresheners used for many hacks here at hackaday. This one is a bit different as it uses the PIR sensor assembly to turn on LEDs in sequence, rather than reversing a motor.

We may have to conduct an investigation into the alternative usefulness of that package. If you have another brand of automatic freshener around it should be just as easy to hack as this one was.
