WGN's Jackie Bange reports from West Palm Beach, Florida, as the town goes about last minute preparations for Election Day, where former President Donald Trump is expected to cast his official vote in this year's election.

In West Palm Beach, rain chances remain at about 50% throughout the day but meteorologists say try to vote early for best chances of staying dry.

After 13 days, early voting for Tuesday's general election will wrap up Sunday in Palm Beach County. Twenty-six early voting sites throughout the county will close at 7 p.m. Early voting began Oct. 21.

Voters who did not cast their ballots by mail or at in-person early voting locations will head to the polls Tuesday for the 2024 general election.

Already, nearly 65% of registered voters have voted with more than 150,000 expected to do so in person on Election Day. Four years ago, 76% of registered voters voted. Statewide, the gender gap for 2024 is about 10% with more than 6.
