Residents in southern California are in the middle of a "Particularly Dangerous Situation" as wind stays in the forecast with still raging wildfires, according to officials.

The strongest gusts are expected Tuesday morning and early afternoon, which will then be followed by a break in the evening.

The fire threat in Southern California has again reached critical levels, and forecasters have issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation Fire Weather Warning due to dry conditions, low relative humidity and the return of Santa Ana winds.
